My son’s first flathead

So this my son Whitt. This was the first time he had caught a flatty on rod and reel. Mind you the combo came from Walmart!! Lol.

Anyways it’s was about 36° with a constant 12mph wind and we where about 15 miles from the boat ramp. We where cold and somewhat wet but when he reeled him in it was all worth it!!!
