Reagan my 8 year old granddaughter was hunting with her dad on the morning of January 7th in my blind. They had seen several deer that morning crossing a narrow lane in a pine thicket. Later on my son saw a doe moving around in the timber and a nice buck was with her. The doe eventually crossed the lane and less than a minute he stepped out, and she tagged him! A nice 8 pt weighed in at 215 lbs. She has been shooting her on deer since the age of 6, and this is her best out of several she has taken. The rifle is a REM. 7mm08 which was her dad’s when he was small, we mounted a tactacam on her scope and the hunt was videoed. The hunt was in Copiah county and she was very excited.
