Rocky Hill Game Recovery was called by a hunter. The hunter stated he shot a big ol buck but hadn’t had luck finding him. We loaded Ol Kota, our certified tracking dog, and headed to hunters location.
It didn’t take long for Ol Kota to sniff out this bucks path. That’s when we heard Kota cut up barking about 400 yards. And the race was on!!
Kota bayed buck in the creek bottom!! We raced to Kota’s aid to assist in dispatch of mortally wounded deer. Bang & a bay it was!! To watch the smile on this hunters face when we saw his buck up close was just priceless!
Our passion for tracking wounded game is next level!! So glad to be “the best part of the hunt” in our hunters eyes when ol Kota gives out tailgate rides!!
