This large mouth bass (probably female due to the large bucket mouth) was caught in a private pond in Magnolia, Mississippi by my 14 year-old-son, Spencer Brumfield. Spencer loves fishing. Bass fishing is his preference with trout being second. He’s an avid fisherman who loves the water and thrill of the catch. He’s not in it for the biggest catch or mounting, just for the thrill of the reel. He aims to have a bass boat one day, but in the meantime, he’s settling for a 2-seater kayak. This catch was snagged with a white pearl shad, soft plastic, swim bait by Berkley.
