I killed this 161” 12 point the morning of Dec. 30th in Mendenhall. This deer showed up out of nowhere the week of Thanksgiving and since then he’s been on top of the list.
I thought it was a Longshot I’d ever get a chance at him because he was never around long and never in daylight but God had different plans.
That Morning my wife text me a picture of him behind our house while I was in the deer stand not a couple hundred yards away. I tried spotting and stalking him but the doe he was following carried him off in the woods before I got on him. But not a little while later she came running back out in the field with him right on her tail and I got my chance.
