Attala County Buck

Shot January 15 in Attala County. He came out at far end of green patch which was around 220 yards. I watched him for about half an hour until I decide to shoot.

He was wore out from rut and his neck was large and he was very musky. This buck weighted 215 lbs.

Funny thing is I had shot a smaller buck in this stand the day before and he was with 10 other does and young bucks.

I told a buddy who was visiting to go hunt this stand the day I shot this one and he said he liked another spot. Needless to say he regretted that decision.

This buck made my season. He is not a monster but he was still a great central Mississippi buck.
