My family recently joined Lake Copiah and my great nephew, Garrett Hawkins, is on the fishing tournament team at Discovery Christian in Florence MS.
Garrett and his dad, Jeffrey, recently bought a bass boat and they’ve been hitting the reservoir trying to find a good spot and get ready for the upcoming season at school.
The Rez is some hard fishing so I invited them to Lake Copiah since it was a smaller lake without a lot of boat traffic hoping they could catch some nice fish. They caught several but these were 2 of the best ones.
